Healthy Green Foods To Eat:
Eating more green vegetables, fruits, and even green tea can have major health benefits. Green leafy foods provide much needed calcium and fiber to your diet. Green food is also rich in chlorophyll, a supplement that can help your entire body feel more healthy and assist in cell repair. There are some tricks to cooking green foods, without damaging the healthy properties of chlorophyll:
- Cook in a generous amount of water
- Do not over cook
- Shock with cold water after cooking
Of course eating raw green food can be much healthier and cleaner for your diet, with the exception of maybe spinach. Lightly cooking spinach leaves helps them condense into an easier way to eat more of it, therefore insuring that you will eat a hearty dose of green goodness!
